PHIL MICHELL

The host and lead commentator of South Australia’s only dirt track Speedway program, “On The Infield” is current Speedway Racing News correspondent Phil Michell. For the last nine years he has been an integral part of the commentary team at several of the State’s leading venues including Speedway City, the Murray Bridge Speedway and Bordertown, so he has an in-depth knowledge of the sport and each of the racing categories.

In addition to being a regular on the commentary team at the listed venues he has also been invited to provide expert comments at several other events including the South Australian Super Sedan Championship at Mount Gambier and the Rowley Park Reunion Meeting at the Wayville Showground's. Last season he also made several guest appearances as a pit reporter on the extremely popular “Chequered Flag” Speedway program on Fox Sports.

TIM INGHAM

On The In Field was created by Tim Ingham in a need to get the sport of speedway in SA out to the greater public. For the past 2 years Tim has been videoing a number of tracks throughout South Australia including Murray Bridge and Waikerie. Each and every one of the Tim Ingham Sports Video presentations (Video and DVD), including the 2005 Australian Sprintcar, Junior Sedan and Sidecar Championships, can be purchased via inghamsportsvideo@hotmail.com or by visiting the souvenir booth at the Murray Bridge Speedway.

 Apart from doing the speedway videos Tim has also worked in the local South Australian film industry on a number of large productions both TV and Film. Tim has also made 7 short films in and around the state. A number of films that Tim has made have been screened here in Adelaide and also at a number of film festivals in Sydney as well as overseas.
